Graduate Student Information

On these pages, you will find the online versions of two of our informational booklets. First is the Graduate Student Handbook, which, along with the University Bulletin, provides the policies and regulations that will govern your academic life.

The second booklet is Information Concerning Master's Theses and Doctoral Dissertations, which provides much of the procedural information necessary for successful completion of theses and dissertations.

Also provided is the academic calendar and a directory of the chairs, advisors, and program coordinators for each of the graduate programs in the arts and sciences.

Together with the Bulletin, the information contained here should answer many of your questions. As always, however, you are welcome to contact the CCAS Student Services Center or your academic advisor for assistance. CCAS student program coordinators are available for walk-in consultation in Phillips 107 during the following hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Information on graduate student life and University services is available through the Graduate Student Services website.

GW Graduate Funding Opportunities is a site designed to assist you to begin your search for possible graduate funding sources.
